Acute Medical Care in the home and in an NHS setting.
Permanent Full time role, Total Assist is seeking Band 6 & 7 Acute Medical Care Nurses to work for a provider of Acute Medical Care to patients in their own homes in Essex.
Working closely with the local NHS Trust you will be working working within the A&E departments to assess and also deliver care to patients in their own homes.
You will need to demonstrate an ability to deliver exceptional standards of care to patients and you must be NMC (UK) registered. You must have at least 3 years post registration experience and have recent medical experience of cannulation, venepuncture and IV therapies in either a home or hospital setting.
A desire to take responsibility and accountability for decision making is required. You must be confident in responding to a patients changing conditions and be quickly able to decide on the appropriate actions to take. Experience and qualification of prescribing is also desirable.
You will need to be highly motivated, organised and capable of delivering excellent clinical care to support patients.
The service will operate a 3 shift system and include evenings, weekends and an on call rota.
You will need to be computer literate and must hold a clean full UK driving licence
