Fling away the files and ditch the pen pot, ambitions for a paperless NHS have been floating around for a while now, led by Jeremy Hunt. Despite the enthusiasm for an updated system, there is still a great deal of skepticism within the industry about whether a paperless process would be successful, with 91% believing that the NHS’s lack of IT know-how will stop the scheme in its tracks. 74% also feel that the NHS don’t have the right marketing insights to gather the right tools for the job whilst still proving Brits with value for money. With a distinct lack of faith in the powers that be, will the NHS even make the move to a paperless system?
