National award celebrates career opportunities for young people

Despite the economic recession casting a rather bleak outlook across young people’s career prospects, The Total Assist Group has taken the bull by the horns to lead the way in growth and development for young people, winning the prestigious national ‘Investor in People Standard’ award, applauding how we support and motivate our hard working teams.

As a successfully thriving and dynamic business, we take great pride in being able to boost and bolster the career opportunities for young people in the healthcare recruitment sector. Based in London and South East England, The Total Assist Group have also starred as winners in the Havering Business Awards, proving how quickly we are building strength in the industry whilst expanding and diversifying our business ventures.

Winning such an accolade is a fantastic achievement, as the award is viewed as a benchmark for best business practice, with must-have targets defined and set by business leaders.

Encouraging growth

Regularly running academy and apprenticeship training programmes, we actively seek to recruit young people to our business, as we recognise the mixture of skills and talent they can produce to help The Total Assist Group flourish.

Alan Westover Head of Human Resources at Total Assist said “Following the launch of our Training Academy and Government Apprenticeship Scheme we are delighted to have the company’s people efforts and vision recognised in this way. Investing in our people is at the heart of what we do as our employees deliver our business promises.”

Grant Finn, Chief Executive Officer said “This award is a celebration of the Chairman’s and Board’s  vision for the company as an employer of choice and the hard work by management and the staff to bring it about.”
