Most families have been touched by cancer at some point in their lives, and it is still considered one of the most feared and deadly diseases, despite a significant increase in survival rates, as shown by government figures. Diagnosis rates have increased by 54% for women and by 29% for men, however 1,800,000 people are still suffering from the illness in England, with a 67% increase expected over the years, with 3 million people predicted to be living with cancer in 2030.
