34,600 lung cancer cases blamed on smoking

Cancer Research UK has unveiled stark yearly figures that show the dramatic impact smoking can have on your health, claiming that it can cause 14 different forms of cancer. Lung cancer is most notably the biggest result from tobacco usage, with smoking contributing to 34,600 cases of the disease. It can even affect areas of the body that you may not have expected, such as your bladder and bowel, with 3,400 and 3,200 cases recorded respectively. Shockingly, the charity has attributed 43,000 deaths from cancer to the fact that patients smoked.
