Job Title: Junior Recruitment Consultant

Total Assist Group’s up and coming Education division are searching for an additional pair of hands to help the department continue to flourish and succeed. Quick and efficient, you will be a pro-active and on the ball individual who can build and develop a constant pipeline of available candidates, to deploy as needed against specific demands from our clients – who range from secondary schools to special needs establishments. An eye for detail is vital as every potential candidate has to be compliant and able to work as soon as possible. Fantastic communication and rapport building skills are essential to furthering the objectives of the department, as you will actively seek referrals from candidates as well as promote company benefits to new and prospective candidates, whilst at all times maintaining a relevant candidate pool for both short and long term positions. You will also work to promote candidates through client marketing calls to enhance every opportunity.

You will be expected to over deliver on business goals and excel at Key Personal Indicator targets, manning and maintaining a successful desk capable of satisfying targeted company objectives. It is crucial that you provide an end-to-end service that wows expectation in service deployment and ongoing recruitment planning by managing your workforce from arrival to departure to disbursement.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Use the ITRIS database to efficiently search for candidates
  • Receiving and reviewing CV’s / applications, managing forward CV’s and creating a pipeline
  • Preparing files and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable candidates in response to their requirements
  • Chasing references, registering candidates face to face and checking the suitability of candidates before submitting their details to the client
  • Briefing the candidates properly about the role, pay rate and any other important information of every vacancy
  • Informing candidates about positive and negative feedback as a result of their CV submission
  • Negotiating pay rates with candidates and all other arrangements where applicable
  • Offering advice to candidates on training and career progression if appropriate
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to candidates and clients 100% of the time
  • Deal with any conflict/issues in a professional manner;
  • Thorough understanding of the education market, competition and market trends
  • Us referral techniques, sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract new candidates
  • Over achieve on financial KPI targets and those that relate to the number of candidates registered/placed, the value of placements agreed or business leads i.e. referrals generated
  • Building strong relationships and rapport with candidates and clients
  • Developing an exceptional understanding of candidates requirements, their specialism, what they do, their work patterns, culture and environment
  • Using company website and social media to advertise positions to attract candidates
  • Identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work or currently work with competitors
  • To provide an end-to-end service that wows expectation in service deployment and ongoing recruitment planning
  • Work in unison with payroll and compliance to maintain best practice
