Medical Appointment Driver

Established in 1999 Total Assist Recruitment Ltd is a leader in the Medical Recruitment sector with a lively and vibrant head office based in the heart of Romford, Essex.


Due to the rapid growth we are looking to recruit a Medical Appointment Driver to cover the Birmingham area.


The role will require the successful applicant to visit our professional medical locums at various public or private locations, hold interviews as well as collecting any necessary documentation. In addition, you will also be required to take a vile of blood from the individual so that this can be tested prior to the medical locum being placed out on work assignments with the NHS. Full training will be provided.


You will be expected to conduct a minimum of 3-4 interviews each day covering a large geographic area so willingness to work independently and travel will be essential.


You will be required to work 5 out of 7 days each week which will include evenings and weekends on a rota basis.


You will receive administration and diary management support from head office however you will have some autonomy on when and what locations you work as long as the minimum numbers of interviews are conducted on a weekly basis.


The ideal candidate would be someone that is punctual, polite, professional and confident in working alone.


Previous experience of driving and working in a customer facing role is desirable however candidates that show the right personality will be considered. You must hold a clean and valid UK driving licence.

Should you be selected for interview you may be required to travel to our head office in Romford, Essex for the interview process. In addition, if you are successful in your application you will be required to come to our head office for at least 1 week’s induction and training (accommodation & expenses will be covered).
