I turned up to work and was told that the dispenser had phoned in sick and that I would be on my own all day. |

You are asked to prescribe medication which is not clearly documented within the patients notes and medical record. What should you do? | I will seek to gain clarification from the dr or whomever is in the best position to tell what the medication is before going ahead to prescribe it. |
What steps would you take, going forward if you become aware of an incident or complaint, which you were involved or implicated in? | I will report the incident using the right tools in place, I will write reflection cpd on the supposed incident and then try and put things in place to help avoid such incident recurring. |

Thinking about a recent difficult situation you’ve had with patient’s relatives – How did you handle this and the outcome | I had a patient’s daughter come in to complain about her mother’s medication not haven’t been delivered at the right time. I handled the situation by being empathetic and transparent. I was apologetic and owned up to our mistake but also made her aware of the true situation of things and highlighted reasons for the failing in the system, I then went on to rectify the issue there and then while putting things in place to ensure it didn’t happen again. |
