Booking Co-ordinator

Established in 1999 Total Assist Recruitment Ltd is a leader in the Medical Recruitment sector with a lively and vibrant head office based in the heart of Romford.


Due to the rapid growth we are looking to recruit a Booking Co-ordinator.


Department: Nursing – Compliance

Report to: Nursing Compliance Team Leader


Purpose of the Job Role:

This role is to provide administrative support to the Nursing team which includes Resourcing candidates, matching jobs on portals and completing Compliance checks to ensure that all of our candidates are fully, and legally, compliant before being placed into work.


Required Knowledge and Understanding:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Computer literate and competent in using Microsoft office including excel and outlook
  • Ability to work multi task in a busy and fast paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Accuracy with good attention to detail
  • Experience of office administration


Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Resourcing new candidates for the nursing team
  • Creating new candidates onto our internal system (ITRIS) and updating existing files
  • Checking that all new candidates are eligible to work in the UK.
  • Creating and updating clients on ITRIS
  • Providing accurate bookings data for payroll and within deadlines
  • Applying for and chasing references and DBS’S, updating ITRIS and consultants when DBS’ are completed.
  • Answering calls, dealing with queries and taking messages.
