Divisional Operational Lead
ADDRESS: Chelmsford, CM2 – hybrid/remote options available WORKING HOURS: Full-time START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 4-6 months approximately, could lead to a permanent role.
JOB SUMMARY
To be responsible for the overall operational management and delivery of clinical and support services, across a community services portfolio. Ensure effective management, leadership and professional advice, where appropriate, is provided to staff across the portfolio, promoting the highest clinical standard of service delivery.
To be responsible for the overall performance; financial progress; achieving improvements in value for money; governance and workforce management for the service areas within the portfolio. The post holder is responsible for ensuring effective operational arrangements are in place with regard to safeguarding children and adults, ensuring the needs of vulnerable groups are addressed effectively.
To lead the development and implementation of integrated services across the portfolio, and with partner organisations in keeping with MSE Community Collaborative principles. This role is key to the delivery of new models of care within the division to achieve demonstrable improvements in quality, innovation, productivity, and prevention.
Lead service and team development, in order to ensure effective resource utilisation and ongoing improvements in the quality of clinical care.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Master’s Degree or equivalent level qualification/experience • Evidence of on-going personal development and training • Relevant professional clinical qualification, nursing or allied health professional degree qualification or equivalent • Evidence of professional academic development in a work-related topic.
- Management and leadership of large clinical teams •Understanding and appreciation of diversity •Key issues and pace of change facing Health and social care both nationally and locally, •Coaching and values led leadership style, encouraging engagement and empowerment amongst staff and stakeholders, and in developing high performing teams •Able to travel independently across sites and the MSE
