Childrens Social Work Manager – 16+ Team

Up to £150 per week Accommodation Expense

45p per Mile – Business Mileage

We need an experienced and qualified children’s social work manager to manage one of our Care Leaver’s Teams.  You will be experienced in working with care experienced young people transitioning towards interdependence. You will be understanding of the challenges which face our young people and proficient in ensuring that our statutory responsibilities towards Care Leavers are met.

You will manage a team of Personal Advisors within the Corporate Parenting Service, committed to providing the highest quality of supervision and case direction, focusing at all times on improving outcomes for young people. You will be organised and a strong communicator and decision-maker.  You will work effectively as part of a service management team, committed to embedding Signs of Safety practice.

You will be fully qualified (DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent), with significant post qualification social work experience and a recognised social work qualification, plus evidence of CPD and SWE registration.

Your proven record of effective service delivery will include managing staff and budgets, while implementing service and quality improvement methods successfully in pursuit of challenging performance expectations.
