Isabel is kind and helpful.

Tell me about a recent occasion when you were under pressure and handled it successfully. - What was the situation? - What actions did you take? - What was the outcome?

When I was the store manager working at the drugstore, there was once an irritated customer shouting and complainting about one of my staff. I went to smooth the mood of the customer, asked the both of them about what happened and then sent ny staff into the office. I listened and comforted to the customer, gave her the compensation I could and then she left with smile. I then educated my staff about how to deal with the customer complaints.

What is your understanding of the Medicines Act 1968?

An Act of parliament of the United Kingdom. An Act to make new provision with respect to medicinal products and related matters, and for purposes connected therewith.

You are asked to prescribe medication which is not clearly documented within the patients notes and medical record. What should you do?

I will contact the prescriber and check with him/her.

What steps would you take, going forward if you become aware of an incident or complaint, which you were involved or implicated in?

I will wait until informed to take actions and follow the SOP according to the workplace.

Please outline your understanding of Clinical Governance.

The framework through which healthcare organisations are accountable for continuously improving the quality of their services and safeguarding high quality of care.

Thinking about a recent difficult situation you’ve had with patient’s relatives – How did you handle this and the outcome

I kept calm and listen to the relatives, tried to figure out the best solution for the situation. The recent one I had was that the relative wanted to buy some OTC for her dad who has multiple chronic diseases. I asked her to bring his medication history next time so I could offer more professional advice in order to avoid possible drug-drug interactions.
