SpecialtyPharmacist
Please summarise your career over the last 3 years

I am a passionate specialist pharmacist, fortunate to have experienced various sectors of pharmacy within a few short years of qualifying. My enthusiasm and drive have enabled me to become a specialist within my field in under two years. My work ethic is based on transforming the role of a pharmacist because I have limitless potential which would benefit any organisation.
A general overview of my previous experiences include: leading a medicines information department, clinical trials, oncology and high-cost drugs are a few of my areas of expertise because I enjoy the complexity of these niche areas and my great attention to detail has been advantageous. I also have in-depth experience with antimicrobials as I was the acting antimicrobial pharmacist.
My diverse experiences have enabled me to develop a great insight into the structural organisation of the NHS and beyond. I have worked within the community and moved on to working in a large trust, to exploring the private sector and currently a GP surgery. I have been able to adapt to these various environments and excel in these areas using my personal qualities and clinical knowledge to my advancement.
I am seeking an environment that will nurture my thirst for knowledge and development and allows me to work for more than just a title, but for my personal satisfaction and benefit to society. I am dedicated to every new role I apply myself to because I enjoy a challenge and providing the best service to my organisation.
As an independent prescriber trained by a leading professor I have good clinical knowledge and great interpersonal skills which have enabled me to establish good relationships with different stakeholders.
